1.  About us
Serene is a small, independent clothing brand based in Sri Lanka. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Serene, and “you” means the person using the website or placing an order.

2. Using our website
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have a parent or guardian’s permission. We may update, change or remove parts of the site at any time without notice.

3. Products and descriptions
We try to show our products as accurately as possible. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and small variations in printing or fabric can happen as pieces are made in small batches. Our crochet bookmarks are handmade, so slight differences in size, stitching and colour are part of their charm. Please check the size guide before ordering, as sizing may vary slightly between designs.

4. Pricing and payment
All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and may change without notice. The price at checkout is the price you pay. Delivery fees are shown at checkout. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer and cash on delivery. Bank transfer orders are confirmed once your payment is verified, and cash on delivery orders once we’ve confirmed your details.

5. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order by message or email. We may cancel or refuse an order if an item is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If that happens, we’ll refund anything you’ve paid.

6. Limited stock
Our drops are small, and items may sell out quickly. Stock shown on the website is updated as we go, but in rare cases an item may sell out while your order is being processed. We’ll let you know and offer a refund or alternative.

7. Delivery, returns and refunds
Delivery is covered in our Shipping Information, and returns, exchanges and refunds are covered in our Refund & Return Policy. Both form part of these terms.

8. Intellectual property
Everything on this website, including the Serene name, logo, designs, graphics, photos, videos and text, belongs to Serene and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or use any of it without our written permission.

9. User content and tagging
If you tag us or share photos wearing Serene, you’re giving us permission to repost or feature them on our channels, with credit to you. If you’d rather we didn’t, just tell us and we’ll remove it.

10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Serene is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

11. Third-party links
Our website may link to other sites, such as Instagram. We aren’t responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.

12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. By continuing to use the site after changes are made, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
